Editor Colleen Posted March 26, 2020 #5 Share Posted March 26, 2020 Gorgeous photos!!! Wow! Antarctica was also a favorite of mine. The views were wow-worthy. I was lucky enough to get there in January. We fell in love with the area, and got to visit South Georgia, too. It was breath-taking.

It included the Chilean fjords and Falkland Islands. It was in conjunction with an escorted land trip in Patagonia (Argentina and Chile). The combination created memories for a lifetime. A great excuse for another cruise there!

Roger88 Posted March 26, 2020 #9 Share Posted March 26, 2020 Scandinavian landscapes are the best. Also I really like the way they build their cities. Passing by some danish town is such enjoyment for your eyes. The way the rocks and mountains are covered with fog and ice. Little fishing houses along the beach. The freshest air on earth ohh boy. Can wait to have another trip to Scandinavia. Its a unique place to visit, really
jocap Posted March 26, 2020 #10 Share Posted March 26, 2020 Ah- I was thinking of the views from a ship actually docked in port, and some are ghastly (Some Caribbean, Casablanca and most industrial docks... ). Norway has some amazing views from a ship docked in a fjord, and Greenock in Scotland is attractive. Valletta in Malta is one of my favourites from the ship itself.
dolittle Posted March 27, 2020 #11 Share Posted March 27, 2020 No pics but it has to be Naples you can see the town and the volcano and feel the energy of the city. It was our first Europe port lucky to have been back a few times.

George C Posted March 27, 2020 #16 Share Posted March 27, 2020 For view from ship Kotor, view is amazing, also when leaving Hawaii we sailed past a active volcano at night and could see a river of red hot lava pouring into the ocean and the steam rising.
Grandpaul Posted March 27, 2020 #17 Share Posted March 27, 2020 My favorite cruise port for sailing is sailing out of New York City and going under the Verrazano B ridge. I still don't think we will get under the bridge. LOL.

Rare Lois R Posted March 28, 2020 #20 Share Posted March 28, 2020 So many places....no photos to upload. When you are looking out at the villages in Cinque Terra....seeing them coming out of those mountains......it is pretty amazing. Sailing out of Manhattan for sure----right by Lady Liberty...…. Leaving San Francisco and sailing under the Golden Gate Bridge...….. I know there are way more but those 3 come to mind right now.
