Americans, how long until you received your refund?

Today I got my Travel agent to call MSC again and he managed to get my FCC from them on my 4-18-20 cruise to apply to my 2-20-21 cruise. But they have not refunded the taxes and port fees yet. 

 

I called the casino dept. about my refund for the taxes and fees on my 3-30-20 and got the answer that they will look into it and to call them back in 2 or 3 days.

Just got my refund for the taxes.

 

Claim submitted 1st April for May 17th cruise.

 

Now to chase on the voucher.

Shocked this morning - two refunds on my credit card - March 14 requests for March 29 cancelled cruises - finally over this hurdle.

I’ve received two refunds so far, but still only half of what I am owed for my March 21st cruise. Think my credit card dispute moved this along faster.

Hi all...

My refund requested on 4/22 for an October, 2020 cruise landed on my CC today!  It took two phone calls and two emails but it finally made it.  So relieved....

Cancelled December cruise 4 weeks ago and got my refund yesterday

Happy to report that our refunds went from disputed with temporary  credit to actual credit from MSC.

Was worried because MSC could have not allowed our dispute .

Amounts are all there, including the laundry package Chase was just going to give that to us and not worry about submitting it to MSC.

I guess they ended up doing all three and amounts are all correct.

VICTORY!!!

Now, with 4 cruises booked for next Fall/Winter, hoping for the best.   

Good luck to everyone who has not received your refunds.   My advice, submit dispute with credit card and let them deal with MSC.
