Thank you for today’s report, Rich!

There are some plants that are considered weeds, but because they feed butterflies, bees & dragon flies - I appreciate them. And oddly enough the grass that thrives here in Florida is a type I would have pulled out as a weed in the Mid-Atlantic. So I am surprised to say I appreciate weeds! Thank you for calling this to my attention.

Now to figure out what I can put on a stick today...

Getting concerned about Amsterdam.  QM2 was just in Durban to refuel and has not been able to enter the port and has left.  She filled up in Mauritius so she has no big problem yet.  Amsterdam is apparently very low on fuel and being denied  access to refuel would be very bad.

Good morning Rich and friends!

The only thing on a stick I like is an ice cream bar, but that would be a blah picture. So sending out a bug on a stick. Last summer I had a praying mantis that sat on my rocker with me while I read on the front porch. They are interesting critters!

As for weed appreciation.. Can't say as there's any weeds I like, so going to agree with @cat shepard there are weeds that are a good thing.

Wishing everyone a happy, safe, healthy weekend!

Joy!

Good morning!
In our backyard we have a family of these little guys on one of my large potted plants! There is one large one I have named CHOMPERS!  When I water he always comes out. Our little Paisley loves watching them!

Nice for a change of talking about this! LOL

Thank you for the Fleet report.

Yard man isn't allowed to work on our weeds or any other people's lawn -- by order of the Governor.  Have no idea how we will get grass cut.

I like pop cycles -- DH has to pick up a prescription -- will have him get a box of them -- of there are any left.

I live in Washington State.  Among a certain segment of our population, EVERY day is Weed Appreciation Day here.  You only have to be concerned about them when you're driving 😒.

How could I have missed this interpretation? I have been in isolation too long.

As a Canadian, I am certain there's plenty of "weed appreciation" these days, up here 😉

Ha! Ha! Venn.  I was about to say the same thing 😉

Thanks for letting us know where the ships are, Rich 🙂 Worried about the Zaandam and her passengers.

Thank you for the report, Rich.

The "other" thread on the Zaandam has completely veered off on a tangent, and so I am depending on this thread to tell me where the two ships are that I am worrying about.

Weeds are just plants that are growing where they are not welcome, and are tasty morsels on a toothpick counted for the other?
