What year is this? So cool!

About 1987.

I had the photo of the original Sky on my tablet when we sailed on the new Sky this past New Years Cruise. I took it to the M&G to show to those present. Captain Tuvo then told the group all about that ship, which was great!

RichSea,  I love your picture of that church in Sicily.  If we do start sailing again this year; I have a cruise booked for Oct/Nov and will be visiting Sicily, Naples, and Rome.  What can you recommend for Sicily?  Thanks,  I see Princess does offer the Godfather tour;  did you do a private tour or ships tour?  Have fun out there.

This was a private tour for 8 people. The cost was 53 euros pp, but this was in 2014. We did the Godfather/Taormina tour. We added lunch at a restaurant with fantastic views. We booked through http://www.sicilylimousineservice.com/sicily/index.asp

Our favorite tour ever!
Here’s another from that tour

richsea;  my wife is full italian.  We have been to Rome, Venice, Florence, Assisi, but not to Naples or Sicily.  This cruise should work out perfect. Thank you for the great pics

From our first cruise. 10 day SF/Alaska round trip on Sea Princess. Our oldest son joined in with my wife to hassle me because she wanted to take a cruise. I finally gave in just so she could get it out of her system. I was positive I would hate everything about cruising. Wow. When I'm wrong I sure can do a good job of it...

After a hot drink on the WIDE Promenade:

We thought this was an absolutely HUGE ship. Little did we know.
