At least why back Royal changed ship names to include "..of the Seas" But agree, why Cruise Lines use same names?

CanadaRob Posted April 6, 2020 #53 Share Posted April 6, 2020 Like the Icon ideas. Also like the idea of reusing classic names for Icon class. Legend, Splendour and N-Sky just to keep it short and hip 😁
Rare Drock20J Posted April 6, 2020 #54 Share Posted April 6, 2020 As a former Music Major, I really enjoy the musical themes. I think they could use: Aria of the Seas, Orchestra of the Seas, Fanfare of the Seas and such. Things that would not work: Durge of the Deas, March of The Seas, Suite of the Seas (unless all rooms were really suites,) or my personal least favorite: The Toccata and Fugue of the Seas! Rare ReneeFLL Posted April 6, 2020 #55 Share Posted April 6, 2020 (edited) There are some really great ones. Deadliest Of The Seas or should that be Deadliest Of The Diamond Princess? In Hock Of The Seas Edited April 6, 2020 by ReneeFLL
Biker19 Posted August 27, 2021 #56 Share Posted August 27, 2021 Biker, who was too lazy to find a more appropriate thread for this but enjoys resurrections: Oasis 7 June saw a contract with Chantiers de l'Atlantique for an advanced wastewater purification system to be installed on the seventh Oasis-class newbuild for Royal Caribbean International to be delivered in 2026. Royal Caribbean hasn't publicly confirmed a seventh Oasis vessel and the company didn't respond to questions about it Thursday. PeterPan Posted August 27, 2021 #57 Share Posted August 27, 2021 I remember when RCI built Oasis. People thought they were crazy. "How will they ever fill that ship every week"? Of course, that was when Freedom of the Seas was considered a mega size ship to most folks.
