No Tortola but really nice itinerary with Barbados, St Maarten, St Croix, St Thomas and Martinique on Rhapsody OTS. Has anyone sailed on Rhapsody recently? How was it? That's a great itinerary, Debbie!

lenquixote66 Posted March 10 #116979 Share Posted March 10 My granddaughter came home from college yesterday evening with one of her Israeli college friends. This 20 year old woman shared the exact same appreciation of music as I do. She even is a fan of the obscure singers/bands that I love. We also discussed politics and she shares my point of view 100% regarding Israel.
Jimbo Posted March 10 #116980 Share Posted March 10 (edited) Just got back from going out for dinner. Mu Wife had Shrimp Fajitas and I had a dish called a El. Volcano Molcajete Also went to Sam's Club and saw this, 10lb box of Bacon. Is this good for my diet? Edited March 10 by Jimbo 1

Introduced in 1997 and last refurbished in 2022 if refurbished in 2022 that's pretty good. We like the smaller class ships. Radiance class has been our favorite for a while now. Quantum class is probably the biggest that we like. What I really like is the itinerary - 7 night cruise with 6 port days and 1 sea day. And we can take a direct flight from PHL to SJU. I hate connecting flights and the worry of lost luggage for a cruise.

It's very good, they also give salad, rice and beans and soft flour tortillas All the proteins are served in a real "Hot" stone bowl. It's listed in the Fajitas section of the menu. If watching your diet to lower your A1C, this looks like a decent choice with plenty of proteins to help with the carbs (flour tortillas). Yummy!!

I WISH we had a direct flight! Ship may not matter so much with that intinerary. 2

I looked at rhapsody out of tampa last part of 2025. Is there any good way from PC to tampa? I read it will take bright rail 5 years once its approved. It's not that good of ports it's worth the cost of parking, I'd like a shuttle from one coast to another. Edited March 11 by firefly333

George C Posted March 11 #116992 Share Posted March 11 My plans for tomorrow in Lexington aren’t working out, two thing I wanted to do were going to Wild Turkey distillery which is closed on Monday and Mary Todd Lincoln house which is closed for the winter and reopening next week , we already knew that local racetrack which I heard was great will open in a few weeks, so I will hit local pubs before we have our family gathering. Which ain’t a bad idea 😁

Rare h20skibum Posted March 11 #116998 Share Posted March 11 Out to dinner tonight, and stopped at the Blackout Burger Bar, because someone was craving a burger. I guess it was because of too much healthy eating lately. My burger was piled high. Yes, that is bacon in there too. Bacon makes everything better. 8

Can’t have a burger without beetroot slices (it’s an Aussie tradition)
