I can relate to this as well.  We were lucky and blessed to do 3 cruises last year and I always bring a few home with me for emergencies!  Ruth, are you listening?

I am.

Most posters are aware that I take long cruises, frequently take more than one a year, and get two chocolates every night (single supplement should get double on something!). I bring them all home with me every cruise (frequently a few extras, too 😁). Then I parcel them out to myself over a period of time.
Alas, mine are long since gone.

Thank you Ruth. I will be cruising single in the late fall and I will ask for double chocolates because I am paying the single supplement.  Never thought about doing this before.

We received MANY extras, as I had asked for dark chocolate for me and white chocolate for DH.  They didn't have the darks for a few days, so, every night they would give us extra! And when the darks were available, we got extras of those!

If you have a preference of dark or milk chocolate, you can let your cabin steward which you prefer, and get two of each. 🙂

Once in a while they are out of chocolates until a delivery comes in. When that happens I let them know it's fine, so long as they make them up to me when the supply arrives. I usually get extras then, too.

Your post produced a smile on my face!  Your stash resembles mine.

Rarely,  do I eat these goodies during the cruise.  By the time that bedtime comes, I need nothing more to eat!

We are still removing these.  And they always prompt a good memory, as we have the cabin # we just have to narrow it down to the ship and voyage.  The three digit cabins are easy or at least used to be

I don't usually remove them.  If they are not bothersome, when I put my underwear on in the morning, and I see them, good memories.

I'm down to my final 3 - 1 milk, 2 dark.  Today I would have disembarked from the Nieuw Amsterdam, and the next HAL cruise isn't until December.  I'm sure the chocolates won't last until then 😉

I have a collection of these too!  I usually try to leave them attached until they start to peel off.  Makes me happy to see them.

Oh good!  I'm not the only one that leaves them on as long as possible... to recount the memories.

While my April HAL cruise was canceled, I did bring back a stash of chocolates from my trip to Italy in February. (Yes, I got out of there just in time to dodge a bullet...)

Anyway, I have been saving the last two pieces from my chocolate hazelnut stash but I think the time has come...

My hubby was wondering what they were.
