Maybe a redundant question but have never cruised the Caribbean. Would appreciate knowing which ports, in the Caribbean, require Tendering? Which tendering ports pose the most difficult for the elderly. (Not wheelchair or scooter folks).

Thanks,

Great Stirrup Cay (NCL’s private island) is definitely a tender port and regularly has conditions too rough to tender. Also if it’s one of the breakaway/+ class ships it could easily be lunchtime before you make it to the island even with the earliest tender ticket. A bunch of people completely missed their excursions on the cruise I had which had GSC as a port. I will now avoid any itinerary with that island on the itinerary.
Harvest Cay was also a NCL specific tender port pre-covid because the dock got damaged.

some other ports can depend on the number of ships in port as to whether or not you’ll have to tender.
