I wonder if they will extend when you need to use the annual cruise benefit by since we still don’t know when sailings will resume

The answer is in the original post, it's even in bold

Hi

i saw the initial extension.  I was wondering if they are going to extend any further than March 31.  I doubt we will be cruising this year (even though I keep holding onto a small bit of hope) so that doesn’t give much time to use it if we assume  cruising starts in January.  Again I am just guessing.  It is great they are trying to be accommodating with the extension but don’t know if March is extended enough.

They announced March; your answer is it won't extend beyond March unless they further need to cancel sailings.

Beginning to wonder if this extension was a clue that were not going to be sailing this year?

All cruises line top brass, including RCL, aren't doing their job unless they're bending over backwards to not only meet CDC safety guidance, but to also ensure they're allowed to enter ports by meeting each ports safety requirements.  In order for cruising to resume, they'll need government approval and assurances that ports will be open.  If and when the pandemic is eradicated we'll be back to normal, yet until then we're in a mask wearing with social distancing cruising limbo. 😞
