Passport card for excursions?

If the excursion details with Princess or a private vendor say "Passport Required" that is what they mean. Here is why, let’s say something happened during the excursion and you had gone from Skagway into Canada for example, and had to be transported to a Canadian hospital. When you were ready to return home - let’s say to the US, you would need to drive home as you cannot fly with a passport card.
