Live virtual Transatlantic on the Regal

In the spirit of fun , fantasy and adventure we will embark on a virtual cruise  . This day has finally arrived for our first Transatlantic cruise on Princess . We did have a TA booked on the Caribbean Princess back in September of 2015 but my wife broke her kneecap a couple of weeks before ending that cruise . We are excited about today's itinerary and being back on Princess after a couple of years with HAL only .

 

 

We were also excited to be in our first full suite on a Royal class ship .

 

 

We live about an hour and a half from the port and our daughter's friend brought us down and we requested a photo stop of the Regal aft . We are in an aft corner on the Port side .

 

 

 

Check in was quick and we were escorted to our suite .

I will cruise along with you.  It seems so odd that there is sickness in the air, when the world is at its beautiful best, flowering  trees, bird blooms everywhere.

Well, heck, since in reality I'm working twelve hour days at the Emergency Operations Center five days a week, I believe that we'll be checking in with you! 😄

We were also scheduled to be on this transit.   Looks like she will be leaving Ft Lauderdale in the next couple of days repatriating European crew members from the Princess fleet.    Royal will be sailing from San Pedro with Asian crew members on board heading for Philippines, Indonesia.

A look at the Concierge Lounge

 

 

Open Hours: The Concierge Lounge is open 24 hours, but a concierge is only on duty from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., noon to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. most days. (Hours vary on turnaround days.)

We thought that it was funny that we couldn't find anything with Alfredo sauce on the menu . My DW shared one of her veal filled pasta pockets with me , delicious !

Thanks for sharing your "virtual cruise". This maybe as close as we get to our British Isles Cruise on the Regal. Love Alfredo's. Makes my grilled cheese sandwich for lunch today look pretty lame😞

Yes , that's the one . The hall in the aft .

Fabulous we were deck 9 as well with a wake view so almost neighbours. We were sad today but you cheered us up. We will be sailing with you. Loved the pizza and this is our first cruise with a drinks package so nice to just have a beer with lunch and G&T's for the sail away. We are exhausted as we flew in from Victoria BC. But dinner first.
