wood8176 Posted April 28, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2020 (edited) Hi, Long time lurker, first post. I've just booked my second cruise on Mariner of the Seas and I'm a little concerned about the room my TA recommended. I chose a JS since I'll be traveling with my three children 21, 20, and 16. I understand that some JS only accommodate 3 people. When I look up the deck plans it says "Third Pullman Bed Available". Does this mean that the 3rd Pullman is available in addition to the sleeper sofa or instead of the sleeper sofa? I've check various websites and there is no consistency for the occupancy numbers. To compound my confusion, the Royal Caribbean Official deckplans seem to change May 1 2020, and again on May 3, 2021. I'm sailing June 28, 2021. (These are the plans that say "Third Pullman Available"). Am I worrying unnecessarily? I'd be surprised if the TA and the reservation system would allow you to book a 3-person suite with four people on the reservation, but I've read many critical comments about the reservation systems, so I'm not 100% comfortable. I also know I can call both Royal and my TA, but with cancellations and rebookings, I thought I would turn to the Forum here for some experienced advice. I did search the Boards and the room comments are pre-Amplification or not specific to my questions. Thanks in advance, Matt Edited April 28, 2020 by wood8176 Edit: Spelling
cb at sea Posted April 30, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 30, 2020 It appears that cabin will NOT have a sofa bed....only a pullman in June 2021. Looks like you'll need a cabin that sleeps 4...not 3...is that right? A pullman is a twin-sized bed for 1 person.
wood8176 Posted April 30, 2020 Author #3 Share Posted April 30, 2020 You are correct, I need a room for four. I've emailed RCI Reservation Support, but haven't heard back, yet. Thanks!
