Will VV need to rethink their no children policy?

There is no way the policy will change. Virgin know that it will remove a high percentage of passenger bookings from families who want to travel with their kids, but they will gain back from people having the comfort of not travelling with uncontrolled kids. I've not witnessed the latter with my preferred CL but I certainly have on Carnival.

 

It's a good policy IMHO and one that Virgin have chosen to narrow its audience but heighten reception within its target as a result.

 

Both my kids will be travelling with is in August... My 20 YO and youngest had his second jab two days ago and their GF have also.

 

And on that note of vaccinations, it strengthens Virgins position since there is no vaccination (yet) for under 18s for Covid 19 and for those concerned about mixing with kids who will be less likely to sanitise, observe social distancing and have hands where they shouldn't be and back to face, it probably emphasizes it's a wise move. That said, adults can be just as bad! lol
