CANCELING VIA CELEBRITY WEBSITE

We've only canceled by phone with an agent, but the hold times are long right now. Anyone had any issues canceling via the Celebrity website?

If you booked with a TA, then you have to cancel through them too. Celebrity won't talk to you, only them.

We never went thru the website only our TAs, took somewhere between 2-3 weeks each time.

 I’m not sure what number you are calling but I have gotten thru to the.

 Captains Club number with no wait twice in the past 2 weeks.

If you TA doesn't return a call or email within a day you have the wrong TA.  They are busy and working from home.  Leaving a message might be better and certainly easier both both of you.

If you have a TA (TAs) that do a lot of business with Celebrity and you have a relationship with the person you work with I promise you the response was quick and the refunds received pretty shortly thereafter.  We never had a sense we needed to call our credit card company.

Thanks for the replies. I guess I wasn't clear. Booked onboard last year, no TA involved. Main reservation line super long waits. I was just curious if cancelations through the website were reliable. Didn't think to call Captains Club. That's what I'll do

We could not locate a cancel button...but there has to be a way!

Correction: The website has changed the 'Manage My Reservation' since I logged in yesterday. I don't get the drop down that had the cancel button.

Cancel on the website hasn't been available for some time.

I booked thru a TA & when our March 28th cruise was cancelled I emed the form Celebrity sent me & I got my money 3 days ago, did not call TA.

George.  If Celebrity cancels you get a FCC form emailed to you and can cancel.  You are correct.  If you want to cancel then you need to call.  The cancel button apparently is gone.

I received an email saying my cruise was cancelled. There was a link in there where I could choose a 100% refund. I clicked on that and received an email saying I would be refunded within 45 days.
