How will passenger numbers on future P&O Cruises be reduced?

Agreed. We have rebooked out Iona cruise from this August to next. We have today rebooked out Celebrity Alaska cruise from this June to next as we have with our Globus Rockies tour. All only a few pounds more. We can't book our BA Canada flights yet, but soon will. If people don't want to cruise the choice is simple. Don't do it. Different strokes for different folks. We will probably book a few infill holidays. If the cruise experience isn't quite as it was, we will make the best of it with a smile and a " Oh well,"🚢😁

We did the Globus Rockies tour and Alaska Inside Passage cruise with Princess and it was the best holiday that we have ever done.  I hope yours is as good.

We did a similar thing.  We did so much on the original once in a life time Alaska holiday and enjoyed it so much that 2 years later we flew to San Francisco for a few days with family there, then took the Sun Princess from San Fran to Alaska on a slightly different itinerary than the previous Alaska cruise and flew back from Vancouver after a few days on Victoria Island.

On the first trip we did white water rafting, seaplane trip up to a lake a the top of one of the glaciers to do a bit of glacier walking, we went on a helicopter trip, we went on the train from Skagway across the rickety wooden bridge up to the Canadian border, we went salmon fishing from Ketchican.  The second trip was a lot less busy because we had crammed so many of our bucket list things into the first trip.

If David was still able to fly we would do Alaska again in a heartbeat.

Alaska is fabulous, as are SanFrancisco & Victoria BC, which sandwiched our cruise.

If you’re on Princess I cannot praise their excursions highly enough.  We watched bears eating salmon, as close as if we were looking from our upstairs window, and pretended we were David Attenborough!  That’s from Ketchikan.  Also the train trip up to gold prospecting country, the good-time girl tour of the bars and *other facilities* of Skagway

We should have flown out last Friday and joined the ship on Sunday. To lies tour would have started this coming Sunday. We will have to wait a year now. Hope we can fit in a few trips this year. Time will tell.
