Yes,my friend lived on Austin St.It was wall to wall restaurants in the area.

It is not just due to the pandemic.At one time there were close to 1000 used book stores in Brooklyn.Currently I believe there are 2.

Stores of every kind all over the city have been closing for quite some time because the rents are too high .
