Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted May 29, 2020 Author #2 Share Posted May 29, 2020 Some of the listings on the Cruise Critic article were suspicious [some had dates of resumption before today, which is impossible] so I decided to check every listing on the cruise line's website. There are too many changes to highlight, so I suggest you check above for any lines you are interested in. I will update this thread every few days based on the CC article, and do the full website check every week or so.

All July, August cruises are gone. They haven't updated the statement on their website or the search calendar, but you are correct: if you search for July cruises, you get a long list; but when you click on each the earliest date is in September. Babcia7 Posted June 4, 2020 #7 Share Posted June 4, 2020 Since we are booked on a Uniworld cruise August 16th, I asked my TA to check with the company about cancellations, since there are no Uniworld cruises listed until September. Her response was, "Uniworld has not suspended any sailings past mid-July." Guess it's still a game of wait and see....
Rare steamboats Posted June 6, 2020 #8 Share Posted June 6, 2020 (edited) The first two American river cruise ships will start July 5th out of Passau and Köln... But actually it´s a full charter by a German online travel agency on the AmaKristina (Köln/Cologne) and AmaViola (Passau). So they are just using the ship and crew but it won´t be a real AmaWaterways cruise. steamboats Edited June 6, 2020 by steamboats

Frncie Posted June 9, 2020 #13 Share Posted June 9, 2020 There is a new notice today on the Tauck website: “We’ve decided to cancel all land tours and cruises with departure dates through August 31, 2020.” They’re asking people not to call, that they’ll call us. This is understandable. I’m sure this decision is difficult for everyone involved, and they are going to be overwhelmed. https://www.tauck.com/travel-updates We are booked on their Rhine and Moselle river cruise departing August 28. (I know. Missed it by THAT MUCH.) Then we are booked for a land tour, Week in Tuscany and Umbria. If they don’t cancel that portion, we will. We’re very disappointed but not surprised.
