Refundable OBC to prepurchase items?

Hi.... booked on Horizon with my 3 adult sons in September and have had several price

drops......resulting in OBC...

 

anyone know if I can use some of it to pre purchase liquors and bar set ups for the guys?

 

also..... can I pre book specialty dinners and pay with the OBC?  Thanks

Can only use OBC while on board the ship.

It's a carnival thing.

 

Rcl let's you use obc to prepurchase stuff, carnival is more generous with obc but cant use it until you board.

 

It is hard to remember which policy is for which line.

They are right, you can't use it beforehand; however, a quick call to Room Service will get you the same items at the same prices that you could pre-purchase.  Just pick out what you want, call when on board, and have it delivered to the guys.
