Sad.  But wasn't this more of a longer term visitor attraction as most cruises depart before sunset.

They are trying to raise it today. Their fundraiser was successful enough to get a salvage crew to come in, Apparently it was swamped and has little hull damage and they are hopeful.  

 

True it's not really a cruise friendly thing given came back at 8pm but it was iconic to see it in the water.

After their equipment was stolen (!), and two attempts that did not succeed, a third attempt June 25 raised the ship to float again. It was towed in and now the hard work to clean it, and I would guess a full tear down on the engine.
