Reliable transfer from Port Everglades to FLL

Recommended Posts

We are optimistically looking forward to our mid-Sept (2020) Round-trip cruise from Ft Lauderdale.

Have booked air home and need good, reliable transfer service from the cruise-port to the airport (preferably a large sedan (NOT a small taxi) or a van - our ship is SCHEDULED to arrive at 7:00 AM - and our flight leaves FLL at 11:45 - so we don't really want to have to stand in line at the taxi que at the cruise-port....

Can anyone refer transfer company that we can book in advance ? - Other suggestions ? (We don't use Uber or Lyft - don't own a "smart"phone)

Thank You

Can't speak to shuttles as we've never used one, but last time we sailed from FLL the taxi line wasn't very long at all.  The travel time is next to nothing and cheap, so especially if you're doing self-disembark you'll be there VERY early.

I use Uber, ask for a bigger vehicle.  Get off, early boarding, you'll be at the airport 30 minutes later.

The Fort Lauderdale airport is within sight of Port Everglades.  If a driver takes 30 minutes to get there you have been taken for a ride! 😂

That would be true.  What I should have said was '30 minutes from getting your card scanned off the ship, to get your bags, customs, uber to baggage drop off - 30 minutes'.  Better?

Yes - better.  Although when cruising starts again the health screening that is likely to occur may add some time to the process of getting on and off the ship.
