Documentation needed for Grandmother taking grandchild on cruise

Recommended Posts

My sister-in-law is looking at taking her granddaughter on a cruise with us. She has custody of the granddaughter. Has anyone been in this situation and knows what documentation is needed? She has her custody / court papers, but somehow, I'm thinking she may need something else. I could be wrong (it happens).

A copy of custody papers and BC should take care of it.  If she didn’t have custody she would need written permission from both parents, signed by both parents, as well as BCs and health forms. (Been there, done that, several times.)
