Buenos Aires to Santiago-starboard or port side

We are going on a South American cruise from Buenos Aires to Santiago on the Celebrity Silhouette in December '21.  Is it better to be on the starboard or port side to see the best scenery?

IF you are ONLY going to do viewing from your cabin-  you need a starboard side.

We were in 1604 and enjoyed our balcony. 

This is not about balconies, but I would advise you if you have time to get to BA early and fly to Iguazu to see the falls.  That definitely became the highlight of our cruise.  We stayed at the Gran Melia which is in the park and is a bit expensive but worth every penny.  We booked our flights from BA to Iguazu as one ways so we could fly out early and return on the latest flight next day..  This basically gave us 2 days in Iguazu for only one night lodging.
