SF Private Tour Recommendations

Could anyone recommend a tour company that does San Francisco day tours and goes to a lot of the special places that the city has to offer.  I love the HoHo buses and wonder if the one in SF is worth using to tour the city.  Does it go up any of the huge hilly streets that are famous?  Any recommendations as we are there for a full day and don't sail until 10:00 p.m.

For something different try the San Francisco Love Tours.  They do small groups in a hippie-decorated VW bug with plush carpet.  They have a two hour regular group Love Tour or you can do a four hour private tour with up to six people, in which case you can tell them what you want to see.

Wild San Francisco tours.  We did the China Town tour several years ago and it was great.  They have several different tours all over SF, just pick your interest.
