On the July 10th on the Mardi Gras, was able to get 1000obc, and 500 each in free play for

my wife and I. I am sure we can go thru most of it in the casino, lol. See you all in July.

Nice offer.  I am starting to worry that my April (Premier SE) and June (Elite) cruises won't go.  Smart to snag the July 10th sailing - gives them more time to get up and running.

Just booked an Elite Offer. $500Freeplay, and Drinks Everywhere for two people!!! Booked o6/0/22 Norwegian Fjords on the Pride from Dover,England!

I've done an Elite before and was able to use the port transfers from my hotel for embarkation and to the airport for debarkation, but that was for a Miami cruise. Has anyone used the Elite Port transfer benefit in Europe and been able to also have to embarkation transfer from a City Center Hotel? It's very unlikely for anyone from the U.S. to embark a European Cruise the same day that you fly in, and obviously you're not going to rent a car and pay charges just to have it sit in a carpark. The comped transfers from London to Dover cruiseport should be a good benefit!

can anone tell me on the elite how soon they ask you about parking and liquor of choice for room Iam booked on 10/2/2021 thanks

We just got off elite Horizon Sat. The elite host emailed us about 3 weeks before for our options. Emailed them in, & then she called to confirm them. They had delivery problems on this first cruise out of Miami, so all of us elites didnt get our soda & liquor in our cabin till the 3rd nite of the cruise! Still had drinks all over ship, gave us cash refund right away for the garage parking, cocktail party midweek, only one choice for excursion, so opted for the $300 spa credit for the 2 of us. Many nitely & afternoon casino promotions like Hot seat, Matilda, fill your bag, etc. And food & gifts in our cabin. Had a great time!

Over 20 for us cancelled. All we've been doing this year is getting great casino offers, booking them & then they are cancelled. Lucky we dont have to worry about airfare. So we have a bunch now from one in March & then May thru Dec. (on both Carnival & Royal). Who knows when they will start up!!

Very strange to read through this thread.  We were all so hopeful.  LOL

So I was able to jump on the Carnival Horizon on July 10 and it was glorious to be cruising again.  The ship was at 70% occupancy, so no wait for the smart elevators (which I love), could find a seat for the comedy show, and bar service good everywhere but the casino.  It was a joy not to have to wear a mask.

Up next, Allure of the Seas on August 15, the only one on my original list that is actually supposed to sail.  For the first time ever, I am sailing with my sister as my hubby is staying home for the grand who will be back in high school.  We Royal Upped to a two bedroom grand suite, which we will enjoy.  She has only cruised once, decades ago, so it will be great to see her reaction to one of the biggest (and coolest) ships at sea.  So we will have to get COVID tested next week, and if all goes well, we will be masking up to enjoy the Allure a week from Sunday.

And now to get back on topic, I just booked a new Carnival Elite cruise for the Mardi Gras in May.  We are sailing on her in February as well.  It sure looks like a great ship!

Do you get full size bottles of liquor and/or wine? I'm assuming all bottles are unopened? The last time we did an elite cruise we didn't have this benefit. Also we're planning on taking the spa credit vs an excursion. Do you know if there's any limitations on the credit? I would like to use it for a weekly thermal suite pass. Thanks for any info you can pass on.

We are on the Allure Sept5'21. Not sure if they will continue to have you test before cruises in Sept. also. We had no problem cancelling our Aug 21 Symphony, but are hearing many others are cancelling because of the testing. But we will probably keep our Sept, since the testing is n/c and appts are easy to get now.

How did your testing work out?? Heard they are also leaving the port later. Luv the Allure!! Let us know if they still have my fav Momma Mia show?

Yes, I opted for the rum, & my husband got the 6 pk of beer, all unopened, & we took it both home, since we got plenty to drink on the ship. They gave us $300 spa credit, instead of the excursion.

Also, we just got home yesterday from the back 2 back July 31 & Aug7 Mardi Gras from 2 different casino deals-Premiere (balcony) booked back in Sep'20, & Ultra (oceanview) booked in dec'20.

So not knowing back then that our July31 would be the 1st sailing of the Mardi Gras!  Wonderful ship, needed 2 weeks to go explore the ship & eat at all the wonderful places. Extra cost places(ltalian, Chibang, & Barbecue) are free (maybe till April'22-I think because the reg. dining rooms are small for so many people).MG shows still so so (still like Royal shows so much better) & MG pools seem small for so many, while not full. 1st week 70%, 2nd week 50%.

Unfortunately, I tested positive.  Royal was great about allowing us to cancel and get a full refund.

So I will try again in September.

So sorry, you & your sister had to miss the cruise, but it was good that you were tested. Also good that you live in Tampa (I see). We're in WPalm Beach, but I would be real upset if I had to fly in from another state, & fly home right away!! Hope you are feeling better!

yes living in Florida has its perks.   All we had to do was cancel the cruise and the travel insurance,  I am feeling a little better every day. So weird not being able to smell anything, though.

Casino was pretty busy the 1st week, but many less in there on the 2nd week. But also 1st week was a premiere, 2nd week was the Ultra(so less are offered it). Also 1st week was 70% (many big wigs & diamonds), 2nd week was 50%(heard more canceled of mask wearing starting& also saw more red & blue cards). Also seems that the smoking area was much more busy both weeks. But crazy on how many Jackpots were given in both weeks!! One lady(on 2nd week only) I talked to had 7 & her husband had 3.. My husband had 3 in 1st & 3 in 2nd. Maybe it has to do with new machines on the new ship?

He gets many offers from Carnival & Royal, & we like both. Maybe we'll meet you on a ship! We have Allures in Sept & Symphonys on Oct.

I am on an elite 10/2 saturday my question is how do you get your spa credit ?

You get an email in advance.  They offer one shore excursion or you can opt for the spa credit.  You return the email with your preferences.

Oops. I see you are already on the ship. Did the casino host take care of it?

Sorry to hear you are not a big fan of MG.  We are scheduled to sail her in late February next year.  Good news it is an Elite sailing so will have free drinks everywhere.  If the casino is not treating me well, I can go listen to some music or enjoy a comedy show.

So my early access to next round of Elite cruises starts tomorrow.  I wonder what will be included and if they can convince me to book another one!
