When will cruise ships sail?

We have an October 24th 2020  cruise booked out of LA but nearly hoping it does not take place. Too many inconsistent Covid readings to travel from Belfast NI.

Realistically - no one knows, not even the cruise lines.  They all WANT to get back to service ASAP, but there are monumental hurdles thrown at them each and every day, not the least of which is the virus is still spreading with no vaccine in sight and no quick and effective treatment.  I personally think 2020 is entirely off the table and Q1 of 2021 is highly questionable as well.

I am still HOPING for March 2021.  I think approval of a vaccine by then is reasonable.  But my Magic 8-Ball (great one, Atlanta!) is cracked.

Imagine if we give kids Magic 8 balls today as gifts. They would think we were crazy. And they sold millions of these.

Does not give me an idea. Magic 8 ball as shown in Post #6 is just as accurate.

Proposed sailing date: Autumn 2020

Although there isn’t yet a clear date on when Princes Crusies’ sailings will resume, all remaining summer sailings have been cancelled.
