How does this math make sense?

This is for my Jan 2021 cruise on Grandeur. How does 46 x 7 = 427? What am i missing?

I think for 7 nights they charge for 8 days.

 

Then there seems to be an extra 16% fudge factor there for I don't know what.  Isn't there fine print somewhere that explains it?

I thought that, too. But i double checked and it says only "deluxe beverage package" so it is not the one including voom 

 

I added the one with voom separately and it comes up as "deluxe beverage package with voom" in the cart. 

 

I thought the same thing haha.

even if they did (which I am unsure if they charge for 7 or 8 ) it still only comes out to $368

Notice the word FROM on the price, $46 is the lowest price offered (probably one ship for one week). Nobody pays that price.

That is not accurate.  When that price is in YOUR Cruise Planner, THAT is supposed to be your price.

The ad states prices STARTING from $46 a day. 

 

I'd guess yours is more, do the math. But the pictured ad doesnt say all are $46 a day, says prices start there for various sailings to me

Ok good to know... thought it meant some beverage prices start at that price.

It's probably just a coincidence, but $46 USD x 7 is very close to $427 CAD.

 

P.S.  I checked my Allure TA cruise.  The cruise planner price is $52 and the total comes out correctly.

 

P.P.S.  Have you tried "booking" the package in incognito mode?  Maybe it's picking up something from your browser history?

The price says “starting from”. Just like all their other “sales” that say “up to” XX% off. Don’t forget the “*”.
