sandebeach Posted July 9, 2020 #4 Share Posted July 9, 2020 According to the article, the new logo (which does not look that different) is for the parent company. So I think that cruise logo gear would remain the same.

Saab4444 Posted July 9, 2020 #7 Share Posted July 9, 2020 The name of the cruise line Royal Caribbean International is unchanged, just the holding has been renamed from Royal Caribbean Cruise Line to Royal Caribbean Group. C&A and logo gear refers to RCI, all unchanged.
cruisegirl1 Posted July 9, 2020 #8 Share Posted July 9, 2020 (edited) Look at this old lapel pin I found on my “cruise stuff box”. It is about the size between a nickel and a a dime. I believe it was given to us at least 10 years ago. Maybe I’ll be right in style if I decide to wear it m Edited July 9, 2020 by cruisegirl1

cublet Posted July 9, 2020 #11 Share Posted July 9, 2020 Hello, Has it changed its name or is it a new company? On 15th June RCCL issued some, what I would understand as 'bonds', that would be guaranteed by a newly formed, direct wholly owned subsidiary of the Company that will own all the equity interests in the Company's subsidiaries that own seven of the Company's vessels. Or it could be both? Regards, Cublet

Well, up until this announcement, RCCL was fine😉 Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd was the holding company for the entire group And it was the old name until they bought Celebrity in the late 90's I think That's when the recent RCCL became the holding company and RCI became the cruise line

While the marketing guys came up with this new naming scheme, as of yesterday, at the SEC, where official names count, they are still referred to as RCCL.
