On a cruise ship two poets did spar With words as sharp as a czar One rhymed with great wit, While the other said "sh*t"! Till they both fell asleep at the bar! I really can't walk away from such a challenge. Damn you! Rare rafinmd Posted June 2, 2023 #3886 Share Posted June 2, 2023 I have no sunrise for June 2 but I'm doing a sunset for June 1 from my 2015 Prinsendam Kiel Canal cruise. It was 9:45PM local time when it was taken so it was by then June 2 at my house: Roy
Leejnd4 Posted June 2, 2023 #3887 Share Posted June 2, 2023 There once were poets so full of grace, Their words danced with an elegant pace. But their wit ran out of ink, Leaving their thoughts on the brink, Now their rhymes stumble all over the place! Okay I'm officially done now. LOL!
finnegan again Posted June 3, 2023 #3888 Share Posted June 3, 2023 First post! Once, a young Miss from Lancaster Asked "Captain, why can't you sail faster?" The ship, which was stellar, But for one rogue propeller, Struck the Miss from behind and disaster! {dis-ast-her} 2

Rare rafinmd Posted June 3, 2023 #3890 Share Posted June 3, 2023 I have another sunset rather than a sunrise, and it's again from my 2015 MS Prinsendam cruise. June 3 was a turnaround day in Ijmuiden between segments of a Baltic, followed by British Isles cruise. Roy

Rare FlyerTalker Posted June 7, 2023 #3899 Share Posted June 7, 2023 Just a note -- in the Singapore Cruise Center (at Harbourfront), there is still the large model of the Serenity. It didn't get moved or replaced during the transition from OC to NC. Probably owned by the govt of Singapore. It's nice to see - still in the "old colors" with the two red stripes of NYK on the mast. Forgive the reflections on the glass case - I didn't have my regular camera with the polarizing filter.
