HI,  we are going to bermuda may 2021.  we will be docked in Hamilton & St George.  Are there any boat tours that will take you to Horseshoe bay, so we can see it.  And any tour boats from St george to coopers reserve & all those islands in St David.

As far as Horseshoe Bay there are no boat tours. You can take a taxi, bus, or rent an electric minicar to drive there and see it. You visit Coopers Reserve by taking a taxi, bus or electric minicar. You can take a boat ride around St. David and St. George from St. George or rent a boat in Castle Harbour.

If you are docked in St. George's, you can catch a mini-bus to Cooper's Island, it is $6 per person. To go anywhere in St. George's is $3 per person. The phone number is 705-0007. Regular taxis are metered, so if you are 2-4 people I recommend the mini-bus, if you are 5-6 people, a taxi would be more reasonable (but of course it would have to be the minivan size then).

To go to Horseshoe Bay--when docked in Hamilton, take a short walk to the bus terminal and take a bus there--that would be quickest, most convenient and reasonable way to get there. Or you can take a short walk to the ferry dock and take a ferry to dockyard, then bus from there to Horseshoe Bay.

Also, while docked in St. George's, you can take a short bus ride (or the mini-bus) to Grotto Bay and go to Dive Bermuda--they have scuba diving and boat rentals--and are located at edge of Grotto Bay Resort. My family loves to rent a Boston whaler there and make our way to Castle Island--only accessible by boat. The shop will give you full instructions on using the boat, and a local cell phone to contact them in case you have any issue at all. It was such a great time, we've done it every time we go back. Scuba diving is awesome here as well.

Buses and ferries are a great way to get around and you can pay by the ride, or you can get a pass for a day or several days. The one pass is good for both.

Thank -you for the info on the mini bus.  Do they hang out or do you have to call to get a return trip?

Last August when were docked in St. George’s two days, those two days there were no minibuses in St. George’s. We looked for them. You can’t depend on there being minibuses. It appears to be an on an off thing. Don’t know when Bryzmom saw minibuses but don’t count on there being any. What is available changes from year to year and if there are cruises in 2021 none can be sure exactly what to expect. It is safe to say there will be taxis and public buses. We took a taxi to Cooper’s Reserve. There is a taxi stand in the town square. That was $20 each way for the taxi. If you take a taxi best thing is to ask the driver to return at an arranged time.
