Empress of The Seas

Recommended Posts

RCI could sell these one way repos - some real die hard fans would probably pay big bucks to say they rode the sailing all the way onto the beach. What time should they book their flight out of Izmir after the beaching?

....and RCI will keep taking bookings even after she's beached there. Aliaga seems to be a real popular place for older ships now......

Empress has also been removed from the Southampton port schedule a few days ago....

Not sure that means much as Empress could resupply anywhere, like Majesty is resupplying in Portsmouth now.

MarineTraffic shows her traveling to Malta.

Right, that's more indicative of a pattern change than her removal from Southampton port schedule.

And Majesty has been in Portland for three days now, also unusual...

Majesty and symphony are being used as the 2 ships keeping those that don’t want to go home on board. Majesty i think is safe for now at least.

There are reports that Empress of the Seas has left UK en route to Malta where she will de store then head to Aliaga to be broken.

Now I need to look at what's available on the Empress.  This might be our last chance for a truly beneficial L&S. 🤣

Anybody see anything good?

I have a b2b booked on Empress in May, 2021 from Cape Liberty.  You can still book cruises on her for next year.  She is doing cruises to smaller ports that other ships can't get into.   Would be difficult to replace her for these trips.

Oh no!  Have a Bermuda cruise booked on her for June 2021 and was really looking forward to sailing into the smaller ports again.  Wonder what will happen as they can't just substitute another ship as they are too big to get into Hamilton and St George.  Time will tell.

I have a cruise out of Montreal in September on the Empress.  Just have to wait and see.

Wait and see for what? Doesn't sound like that ship will still be sailing then
