They can continue their folly but with less than 100 on board under Norwegian law.  I don't understand why a cruise line would want to take this sort of risk when they know COVID can show up on their ships regardless of their precautions? Nor do I understand the motivation of the passengers when the consequences of getting stuck on a ship with COVID is a possibility.

Maybe this quote from one of the passengers on the Uncruise sailing in Alaska will help you understand that other people can have different opinions:

  • Uncruise passengers tend to be sophisticated and adventurous travelers and we all seem to be taking this in stride. People were aware of the risks upfront.
