Seeing it is green i will have a guess it is a ferry in Ireland

This is almost right but the photo is not taken of the ferry in Ireland.

Looks depressing like Holyhead.

(Or however that place is spelt)

.Yes, Holyhead is the way it is spelt in English

Caergybi in Welsh

Like places in Australia which have Aboriginal names and English names, places in Wales also have indiginous names in Welsh

I guess the docks where big ferries leave from are industrial areas - sky looks grey, cant remember the temperature, this photo was taken back in 2013,  but can't have been too cold as I am outside with short sleeves on

Daintree River?

Yes it is, we were staying at Daintree Lodge. In January the floods inundated the area. The Lodge and Pub survived, however tourists have not returned. Even normally bustling Port Douglas is very quiet.IMG_1818.thumb.jpeg.0234f97930a2ff34e8da1f85dd79e41e.jpeg

The Daintree is an area of incredible beauty.  Decades ago, before it was sealed, we drove the track from Cooktown to Cairns in our 4x, and were escorted across a shallow crossing in the Daintree by local indigenous guides on horseback.  The recent floods have been devastating.

Okay, try guessing this one, and the general area of the particular country will be enough:
