Dublin

Yes you are correct, we had an 11 year long working holiday! during which we lived in Bristol, always mean’t to go across to Ireland but never did.

Finally visited Ireland during long service leave trip to Venice for child brides 60th.

We spent a few days there in 2013. Lovely city. DH is a big James Joyce fan so we timed out trip for the Bloomsday celebrations.

It makes visits to foreign places much more satisfying when there is a personal reason to visit.

It certainly does.

Mind you, so many places in the world are familiar to me from books so it's fascinating to actually go there.

It is in Greenwich, but this is not the purpose of this building

Greenwich Meridan? I have been to Greenwich, the original Royal Naval Academy was there, before it shifted to Dartmouth, got me thinking. But I am a tired Dinosaur today.
