I just got my first ever ultra cruise from carnival offer. However, the lowest price is 449 per person so are  these worth it considering I have mountains of rcl free cruise offers? I have been on an elite cruise before with carnival which was great but that cruise was free while the ultra would cost me over 1k for 2 people. Thanks for your advice.

Wow, How come you didnt get this one free also? We do both Royal & Carnival casino deals. Whats great about the Ultra is that you get a free guaranteed electronic gift (from Ipads to big screen TVs, etc.) Cannot choose it, its whatever the envelope that you pick says. Done one so far, & my husband got the apple watch. (If you dont want the item, you can trade with someone, or trade it in for an equivlant amount of casino freeplay)  You have to decide whether the cost of the cabin is worth it to you for the gift. We got the new Ultra list on Tuesday, & booked them. (but we get free outsides with casino freeplay).

I decided not to book the Ultra this time.  I get free balconies on some premiers and the latest elite offer, and free Jr. Suites or balconies on Royal, so I am not interested in a free interior with some fun play.

I have done one Ultra, and was lucky enough to win the big screen, smart TV.
