Vista Class Grand Suite

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of springing for one of these cabins as a surprise for my husband. Do you like the location and size of this room? Thanks in advance.

Centrally located and you will have access to the Havana pool area.  If I could, I would!

Had one on Horizon. It was fabulous. The tub was nice, albeit a bit small. The amount of daylight was wonderful. The steward was practiced at making us comfortable. He took our (included) laundry daily. The best part was the amount of space. The separate closet/make-up room has double the closet space. You never need to see any of your travel gear in the main living area. The L shaped couch is nice if you have guests, and the TV on a swivel is good but the console does take up some space. The steward gave us a second remote, one for the nite stand. another for the coffee table. The bathroom is large, with a tub/shower combo, toilet, and two sinks. Enough shelf space for grooming and oral cavity maintenance supplies.  In the corner is a bidet but be careful standing up because there is a towel rack above it. We received a fruit basket, wine and cheese platter, cake, cookies, and candies on a daily basis from the casino.

It would be hard to pick between this and an aft-wrap.

@Moviela, thank you. We've done the aft wraps before, but never a GS. I'm somewhat torn now between springing for the GS or purchasing the drinks package as well as two or three dinners at the upcharge places around the ship. As it stands, we're in a basic balcony, so we can step outside if we want some air. I have some thinking to do.

We are starting to look at cruises out of Galveston - on the Vista - some pretty good "deals" being offered now !

Haven't cruised on Carnival for a long time (have been spoiled in various types of suites on other cruise lines.)

Started to book a GS category - until I saw that in the bathroom - there is a "tub/shower combo" (???)

Question:

Is there a category (on the CCL Vista) that has a SEPARATE (preferable big - but...) shower from the tub ??

Thank You
