I described my letters somewhere up above. There is no transparency with Princess

In the Princess casinos, it says on the machines How many points you have.

I take a screenshot thruout the cruise to see how I'm doing.

I know exactly how many points I've made.

Then on the last night one last pic to see how many points it took to get

me to whatever type of comp offer.

Are you talking about table games?

In that case you might need to inquire from pit, like land based casinos.

Yes...I am talking about the tables. I know you can see your points on the slots, but Captain Stubing could not get his table play comps from the pit, the Host, or the Princess casino web site. Not only will they not divulge your points from table games, they will not tell you how many points are required to reach the next level, or even tell you what level you currently are.

I am not saying I have not gotten anything from Princess casinos. I just did a 20 comped cruise on the Enchanted....what I am saying is they simply will not tell you what you did to get that or what you need to do to get another......good luck

If anyone has, can you please post details?

My husband got the offer for Voyages of Discovery - free minisuite, $1500 in FP and Princess Plus.  Taking the Canada/New England trip in October because why not - it will practically be free.

It really depends on how much you play. From talking to people and some rough estimates, I peg passable offers coming in at around 15k CI on tables per week. At 50k, you'll consistently see balconies and possibly minisuites.

(Note that with different estimates, fundamental values, or calculation methods, the final number would look far different.)

I have $500 in Casino credit for a upcoming Island Princess cruise. Is the $500 just handed over to me or is it “Match Play” only.

The offer says “Freeplay” …Curious!

Assuming it's the same as on the Majestic a few weeks ago, they either give it to you in nonnegs of 5/25/100, or freeplay loaded to your account for machine play, whichever you request.

Free play is loaded on you medallion which slot machine will read.   It then keeps track of how much you have used and winnings go into another bank.    You can cash out that bank anytime but can not cash out your free play

Wow, I no where near gamble $15k on a cruise....I think the most I've ever gambled was $5k and I'm still hitting myself over the head for that one.   I play slots 99% of the time.

I've got 4 cruises booked:

1.  10 day Alaska - Free mini , $1k freeplay and Princess +

2.  15 day Hawaii - Free Balcony, $1,050 freeplay and Princess +

3.  16 day Iceland/Greenland - Free Balcony - $1,000 freeplay and Princess +

4.  14 day Scottish Highland & Wales - Free Balcony, no freeplay and Princess +

I also got the Prestige offer (or whatever it's called) and I couldn't (or my DH wouldn't let me) book anything else 🙂

Offers for slot players tend to be a fair bit higher at the same CI which is reasonable: The edge on slots is several times (if not an order of magnitude or two) higher than most tables, assuming they're played at anything remotely near optimal.

People also often end to underestimate the amount of CI-- a sloooow BJ table clocks around 1k/hr@25/hand.

Bouncebacks are also incredibly variable; one of my friends who didn't play AT ALL got a 300FP/interior off offer a few weeks ago, and, on the same trip, I ended up with a balcony/500FP... Playing purples as my baseline.

What is a VIP casino cruise? What makes it VIP?

Extra gifts and events for the invited VIP casino players. Also usually means extremely crowded casino, in my experience.

Got freeplay.  Should have been a welcome on board party (didn't happen "due to Covid").   Should be tournaments and games for VIP only.  Not happening...again probably "due to Covid".  Have only gotten strawberries in room.  Surprised Covid didn't eat those!  The only thing that has been for the VIP guests only is a drawing at 11:15 at night.  Not impressed.

Just off the Majestic a few weeks ago. Lots of gifts but most we didn’t care about. Candy, chocolate covered strawberries, bottle of Prosecco, 2 bottles of meh white wine, bucket hats and packing cubes. The wife did win a drawing for $100 in free play. We had a free balcony and I had $550 in free play. We also booked another free balcony with Princess Plus, $1,000 free play for her and $250 for me. Not a bad deal

The Ultimate VIP trips are ones you don't really want to miss if you're within reasonable range; everybody registered on the last one (Majestic, in April, I think?) got a prize of at least 500$, with the biggest being 1.5k. (See below.)

There's also daily snowball/fireball/hotseats, as well as an assortment of, frankly, junk gifts. (Princess Players Club tarp anybody? At least the silver foil playing cards could be played with...)

The downside is that since it IS a casino trip, expect the casino to be packed, and spa/restaurant bookings to be full from offers that flow out of the host to larger players.

Prizes (linked images for compactness):

Was on the Majestic on April 30 cruise and yes lots of drawings however the casino was not that jammed perhaps because they sailed at around 55% of capacity. Yes the tarp is useless

My husband plays blackjack maybe every other day.  Plays anywhere from $500 to 2 thousand each time. He then gets casino offers constantly, at balcony or mini suite level.

Hello,

Has anyone had any luck with an upgrade once you are onboard?  We are booked on a Casino comp and are in a mini suite.

Thanks!

The odds of a full suite being available once you board is not good. If you want a full suite you should call casino department and get an upsell quote. They will probably charge you the full price minus whatever the casino is paying

I had booked a suite for my Alaska cruise and then received an offer for a free balcony and called to see if I could just pay the difference from a balcony to a penthouse suite.  They wanted me to pay more than what they were currently asking online for the Penthouse suite.  It's as if they were penalizing me.  I called back a second time and received the same response.

gerig,  I have never tried to make the big jump from balcony to a Penthouse suite.

I can see why they would want to make that hard to do...

I've had my best luck going up One cabin grade, like inside to OV, or balc to mini.

My offers are usually balc or mini, so I'm not really interested in movin on up.

I'm fine with those.

You can always ASK, but if its too big of a jump in $ ?   Can say thanks, but no thanks.

I almost always keep what cabin my offer is.

i would have assumed they would charge me the prevailing penthouse suite rate minus the interior prevailing rate but the took the prevailing penthouse rate and added 2,5k to 3k on top of that,

Things I learned while booking my casino offers thru Princess:

1.  You can cruise solo with no extra charge

2.  You earn 2 cruise credits by cruising solo

3.  The "cancel for any reason" has been extended thru 12/31/22 for casino offers

So.....I've booked 3 quick B2B as a solo cruiser, earning 2 pts for each cruise.   I'll be elite before we go to Hawaii.    Someone had to take a hit for the team 🙂
