Question about CA a Cruise Before Final Payment

If you want to cancel your cruise before final payment & you have insurance (or maybe not) will they refund your deposit?  REALLY want to book something for next summer, 2021, but worried about the way things will be in regards to the virus by that time.

If you book with a refundable deposit in the US you can cancel before final payment and your deposit will be refunded, doesn’t matter whether you have insurance or not.

Definitely book with a refundable deposit. Gives you until final payment date to cancel without a penalty. to just cancel using insurance because you don't feel comfortable going would require cancel for any reason insurance which is a hefty up charge and doesn't usually refund 100% anyway.
