Something which is not known.

A front for the Chinese navy tried to buy the islands around Havana harbour off Vanuatu.
Havana harbour is a natural deep water harbour.Lelepa is part of that harbour .

Uncle Sam and the Australian government lobbied the Vanuatu government to block it.

A bit off subject BUT.
Also at the time the Chinese where going to connect Vanuatu to the undersea telecommunications grid .Because it was a threat to Australia-US security ASIO and CIA diverted foreign aid and the Americans are doing it .

Enter Royal Caribbean onto the stage.

I think there’s going to be some foreign aid involved.

wouldn't be the first time action happens in one area due to other reasons.

I would say so mic but as with wonder and icon finance and contacts have been signed
who knows???

Wonder was already in progress so bit difficult when it's a 3rd party who has other bookings; they can't just leave the ship blocking the ship yard.

Here contracts are also signed, but it's all in their control, there's no other party needing the island if they delay building progress. They could choose to continue, but given funds are tight I'm sure it's been parked to save money until cash flow improves.

Some of the longest and fastest flighing Foxes in the world?

Do you think Cox architects could design one to Botany cruise terminal from the airport.

On Lelepa is a cave that has cave drawings that are upto 3000 years old. It’s a world heritage site.

The paintings are representing hunting, fishing ,island life and former chiefs.

I was only referring to Leleepa being delayed.

Indeed, we don't know if Covid has been on earth before.  But plenty of viruses through the ages have decimated millions, like the Spanish Flu, killed 50 million.  It did not originate in Spain you know, it originated from an American seaman and spread like wildfire across Europe and beyond.

 You do wonder David.

A lot of the islands had people coming and going, they must have been brave.

One of the most interesting is Pohnpei in Micronesia.it dates back to about a similar time.

Its a half sunken city made of huge stones from somewhere else. Somehow they transported them and made a town like Venice in the middle of nowhere.

And you wonder why did the leave? What happened to them?

Heres a map of the town it’s about 3-4 square kilometres dating back 2000 years or more.

Last time the question was asked in trivia one of our team mates said the US but we went with Mexico, I knew it wasn't Spain. How wrong we were.

I'll remember the US now.

Bit of history on Celebrity..

Chandris Group (1988-1997)Edit

Celebrity Cruises was founded in April 1988 as a subsidiary of the Greece-based Chandris Group to operate upmarket cruise ships to Bermuda.[4][5] Chandris had been involved in cruise traffic since the 1960s,[3] and during the late 1980s the company operated in the United States market under the brand name Chandris Cruises.
