Saga newby

Hi fellow cruisers we usually cruise with Cunard our first choice then P&O second choice but have been looking at the new Saga ships and are considering booking one for next summer we really enjoy the formal nights and gala dinners but can’t find any info on wether Saga have formal nights and if all passengers adhere to the dress codes ?

We haven't cruised with Cunard for a few years, but have done 3 Saga cruises, with the last being in October 2019 on Spirit of Discovery.  Saga does have formal nights and the great majority of passengers adhere to it. From what I remember, on formal nights, formal dress is required anywhere outside of your cabin after 6pm, including the buffet restaurant. I can't comment on gala meals because we only used the buffet restaurant and The Club by Jools. As there is no equivalent of the Queens Room on a Saga ship, I feel that Saga is slightly less formal, but others may disagree.
