Izzywiz Posted September 19, 2020 #351 Share Posted September 19, 2020 Hi Avril, Royal Caribbean was very generous by game prize standards. Each time I answered a question I got a progressively more 'expensive' prize so it went from a key ring, via pen, Highlighter pen, notepad, tote bag, baseball cap, insulated mug and the 'million $' prize was a choice of a bottle of good quality champagne (no good to me because I don’t like alcohol) or a meal for 2 in one of the speciality restaurants. We take part in quite a lot of quizzes and some game shows and I really like the 'points mean prizes' concept that P&O, Fred Olsen, Celebrity and Oceania use rather than the trinket prizes given by some cruise lines. Our team came 2nd in an 18 day progressive trivia and lost by one point. Princess didn’t even give us a key ring for our efforts so we were a bit disappointed to say the least. Loving this thread.... Isabel Me too. I'm enjoying the pictures and seeing different places, and remembering the ones we've seen. You must have been lucky enough to have seen every country in the world judging by your various photos. Avril I agree. The beauty of cruising is the ability to see numerous new places in a short period of time.

Izzywiz Posted September 20, 2020 #375 Share Posted September 20, 2020 Absolutely stunning H photographs and such creativity from everyone. My DH is a passionate bird photographer and I got my wander lust from my Dad who backpacked all over Europe before the war and read me countless stories about exotic places so cruising and pre/post cruise tours are the perfect answer. I'll start my Hs with birds.... Black-Headed Heron Gambia. Boat-Billed Heron Costa Rica Fascinated Tiger-Heron Costa Rica Yellow-billed Hornbill South Africa We were lucky to find a bird sanctuary near Montego Bay, Jamaica, where our MSC ship docked and were delighted to have the opportunity to feed the hummingbirds.....an unforgettable experience... White-tailed Sabrewing Hummingbird Black-throated Mango Hummingbird I'm not sure what this one is called
