That's why the daily Fairfax County cases have never gone down. There are enough people who don't care about others getting the virus to keep it spreading.

The number of patients needing hospitalization and being young and having no severe diseases is going up relatively fast ! So this virus is not as harmless to young and healthy people as you may think. Please, link to the data you are relying on regarding the non-at-risk population, specifically deaths; the demographics of "no severe diseases" in Europe (by country). Thank you. Just have a look to the current cruise line operations of AIDA cruises,TUI cruises,MSC cruises,Costa and the few other cruise lines operating. They are operating since July/August and so far there is NO reported covid-19 case on one of these cruises. Only exception were 7 cases of a full-charter cruise of a french company on a Costa ship. But on all the regular cruises nothing happened yet. This is the proof that it can work.(in case everybody follows the rules) LOL. You missed the point completely. Of course there will be cruise ships sailing with no issues and YES the cruise lines will enforce rules, etc. However, Covid is exploding again in the US. If cruising resumed even with short cruises it would just be a matter of time Covid started spreading on cruise ships. The amount of traveling people do through airports, etc. It would not be possible to have cruising "normal" again during a pandemic. It would be a matter of time we would be quarantining ships again. Again, its not their fault. Its how this virus spreads. We cant even keep it from professional sports here in the USA. We cant keep it from schools no matter how hard they try. We cant keep it from the White House. Cruise ships would be no different. Just yesterday the chief of staff for the White House stated they could no longer contain the virus and are focusing on treatments only. And Spain just announced curfews again for probably the next 6 months. It's continuing to get worse. Tennessee cases have pretty much doubled the daily count in the last week. Some hospitals in smaller communities are diverting new patients to other locations, no room locally. And for cruises any time soon, like a long time, were screwed. In thr UK compliance is not great and we now have protests against them and gathering and not wearing masks Places like Pakistan have done very well , the ppl actually listen to protocols. maybe it never fully goes away but it can be suppressed. pop 200 mil and only 7 or so deaths a day is winning imo.
