We are looking at the crossing in October. I have avoided leaving from Barbados airport as i have heard horror stories. Anyone have any info?

I am intrigued with the potential of free laundry. Is this in cement yet?

Not having to drag formal attire is such a plus and if laundry is provided its even better.

We have been vaccinated and are ready to go anywhere at the moment but we also realize we are in the minority of those who have been vaccinated. Its going to be a challenge.

Free laundry may not be set in stone, but only because of COVID-related environment and rules. What I do know is that there are no "formal nights" on the cruise line, it's more of a country-club casual vibe. So no need to bring formal attire unless you want to.

As mentioned above, when I asked, they told me that laundry was included.

However, I also realize that this is a brand new product with a ship that hasn't even finished being built yet.  I expect we are going to have to roll with some punches as they work everything out.

Just noticed on the FAQ that laundry is included: https://atlasoceanvoyages.com/faq/

We are booked on the Jan 15 Antarctica cruise. So excited to cross another item off my bucket list. Anyone else going?

I'm booked for the Jan 6 one right before yours!

Who is behind this new cruise company?

Without ever having sailed they have no reputation to rely upon.

I am intrigued by their Antarctica - Crossing the Circle sailing in February 2022, but am reticent to  plop down a deposit without knowing if they're what they say they are.
