Heritage Expeditions Approved to Cruise NZ waters from November

I've posted before - but excited - just booked this cruise https://www.heritage-expeditions.com/destinations/subantarctic-islands-travel/unseen-fiordland-stewart-island-and-snares-cruise/  for 6 Jan as the NZ government has given the company approval to go ahead this summer and to bring the ship back from Russia https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/123021495/covid19-cuts-cruise-spending-but-the-true-impact-will-show-up-this-summer-if-borders-remain-closed 

 

Very excited - worried about seasickness but will take all the drugs available for that !

Only small numbers involved, I think that was a major plus in  approval being given .

Also local Kiwi company which has run these cruises on the Russian ship from NZ for years.
