The Path of the Trolls Tour - Alesund

Has anyone done the Celebrity Cruises "The Path of the Trolls Tour" in Alesund?  I am wondering how much time is spent on the bus and how many stops there are.

We did it ourselves. Rented a car from Avis, it was easy to do. That way we could make as many stops as we wanted and on the way back we made another stop at the viewpoint at Mt. Aksla.

Where did you pick up your rental car? Did you order it in advance? Were the roads well marked?

Thanks for help with all my questions. We are going in June of 2022 and may want to try it ourselves too.
