                                                           Discovery  2   Corfu  for eastern med

                                                           Explorer  Palma   for western med

                                                          Explorer   2     U.K for the Baltics  fjords and  northern europe

Marella Cruises and Tui River Cruises summer 2022 programmes go on sale on November 5.
Six additional itineraries will be available across three Marella Cruises ships, with another itinerary by Marella Discovery on sale from December 10.
Marella will put 18 cruises on sale next week and a further five in December covering islands such as Santorini, Kefalonia, Corsica, Sardinia and Sicily and cities like Dubrovnik, Barcelona, Split, Venice and Lisbon as well as gateway ports to Rome, Florence, Seville and Athens.
Marella Discovery will homeport in Palma for the fourth time after its first season in the Majorcan capital in 2016.

Home Ports

Explorer 2 - Dubrovnik  (Thursday)

Explorer - Corfu (Friday)

Discovery 2 - Palma (Saturday)

 

I assume that Discovery will be on a Tuesday from Palma as per the press release above

 

However, I find it strange that some are not being launched until December.

Just been having a look and they seem higher priced.

I could cruise with Marella in an Executive suite for a week

or on P&O in a Butler Suite for 2 weeks for 10% less money.

We have 4 branches within a 15 mile radius of where we stay,

 

One is permanently closed,two are temporarily closed and the one in our town  is open

 

It wouldn,t surprise me if the two that are temporarily closed dont reopen

They probably won't Jim. We did get an email from TUi to let us know. Lately I had just been phoning the shop the shop to book so will probably just phone Dundee which is now our nearest one and not too far away if I need to go in.

For all the cruises we have done we,ve only ever booked one through Tui however,of late the deals from our local TA we use are not a lot better than I can get through Tui so may well be looking to book online in the future

Looks like R.C.I. has put a ship into Barbados for winter 21/22 doing the same cruises as Marella on the vision class Grandeur, as it has been offered by U.K.  travel agents. also i have seen  Discovery sailing Sundays also with Marella so more competition.

we were interested in India/ Middle East area as we had our cruise around those parts last November cancelled. 
Fingers crossed a similar itinerary to the one we had cancelled, will be scheduled for Winter 2022, so that we can try again.
