Penthouse suite or Verandah suite on Enurodam???

Recommended Posts

Happy thanksgiving everyone... we are thinking of booking either the Veranda suite on Eurodam and we may splurge and opt for the Penthouse. I read the differences online. I was wondering if the penthouse is booked do you get perks at the spa?  Besides the butler, pantry and larger cabin are there other BIG differences that are worth the price?

Thank you

A quick search here will find many threads on the pluses and (extremely few) minuses of a Pinnacle Suite. There weren't any perks at the Spa when we were in the Penthouse. But there were other perks, and the service is superb. Perks may vary among the ships and the staff, starting with the Hotel Manager and Neptune Lounge staff, so what is offered to you may vary from other's experience. Eating a course by course dinner in your dining room or on your balcony is consistently offered.

HAL does not have butlers in any cabins on any ships.  The Pinnacle Suite sure looks beautiful!

But, if you take out the comma in the OP's comments (butler pantry, instead of "butler, pantry") it is correct, it is a Butler pantry. Has a larger, colder fridge, most notably, if you want that.

It's a pretty big jump from a verandah suite to the Pinnacle Suite--OP, are you sure you aren't comparing a Neptune Suite to the PS?

In general, just expect a bigger cabin if you book the PS--there are no published extra perks to speak of.  But I am certain there are unpublished benefits, like being able to walk into the Pinnacle Grill without a reservation even if it is fully booked.

Exactly and if the person in a PS wants course by course dining served in their Suite that’s usually the entrance for the waiters so they can be discreet 😉

Plus the servers can keep the food warm, or chilled, and have room to prep and cleanup. Definitely a plus to have the pantry. Our dinners in the Penthouse were awesome.

Very good point.

I’ve only done the PS twice but both times we had dear friends for dinner and it was really well done.  We enjoyed it very much.

We got an upsell from a Neptune on Eurodam - and was it worth it!  We hosted our roll call Meet and Greet and the Concierge got us hot and cold appetizers, and water/soft drinks.  Love the hot tub on the balcony.  You have a table at Pinnacle just for you.  You really feel that you can ask for whatever you want.  Like our TA said: "You are queen and king of the ship."
