mandated by the government to only run at 50% capacity, so what i've been reading is max 2000 guests permitted. According to RCG Asia Pac, this first sailing is sold out.

Thanks for posting all this very helpful information.  Do you know if there is any alternative to the contact tracing bracelet?  I am allergic to the material that most of those bracelets are made of and it looks similar to the wow bands that I definitely react to.

That was a Trace Token and the linked thread also says Tracelet Bracelets will be issued so it doesn't appear that it's an either/or option.

Thanks for the link.  I will just keep an eye out to see what the options are once we have sailings in the US.  I am sure I won't be the only one who can't wear that.  I can put it in my pocket, when I have pockets, but I just don't want to be constantly stopped if I am not wearing it.

Good morning everyone and thanks for all your well-wishes! It’s pretty early (6:30am) and was hoping to get a good sunrise but the weather doesn’t seem great so we’ll see. I’ll take the chance while waiting to try and answer as many of your questions as I can.

No time slots needed, can just go in whenever. This is different from World Dream (and on land) so I’m not sure why they didn’t put a system in. Then again it wasn’t crowded yesterday and in fact out of the three pools (indoor outdoor and solarium) the indoor and solarium hardly had any people at all  I guess if there aren’t many crowds there isn’t a huge reason to have reserved slots.

Haven’t seen any WOW bands so far. Not sure if they’re giving them out at Guest Services but since we all have their Tracelets I guess they might have thought two wristbands was too many. I’ll pop by the suite lounge later today and take a look!

Sadly no escape room or laser tag that I can see.

May I ask how long did the check-in process take for you today and what was your check-in time? and was there priority boarding for suite class guests?

Check in took maybe 10 to 15 minute tops? Our check in time was 2:30 and they seemed to be enforcing this, because they had a separate queue for the 3pm slot and were holding them till we were done. No priority for suite guests or C&A except for Star suites and Pinnacles sadly, but aside from baggage drop off there were no lines anywhere so it wasn’t even a big deal. To briefly recap the process:

 

1. Baggage drop off (5-10 min queue)

2. Health check (they just check your survey results on the app)

3. Security

4. Check in (if you did online check in they just scan your passport and Setsail pass to check your identity. 
5. Tracelet collection

6. Immigration (I don’t know why since we’re not going anywhere)

7. Boarding

Food’s mostly great though Windjammer had a few misses. Coastal Kitchen’s as good as ever, and it wasn’t too busy. I don’t think you’d have problems getting a table without a reservation, even though the signs say reservations are required.

Here’s a pic of the little bottles! No toothbrush as far as I can see though

Yep no worries, all is smooth so far! Well the sea is getting rough and there seems to be a storm, but I’m not too worried about that, living in this part of the world. Quantum was built for all weathers after all.

 Yes you’ll need both the bracelet (from Royal) and either the TraceTogether token or the app (Singapore government). I’m not sure if there’s a way to do it without wearing the bracelet but maybe a transparent lanyard would do it? On World Dream the tracing device was a token attached to the key card lanyard.

Yes masks are mandatory except when eating or drinking, or in the pool! Most of the rules are the same as what we have on land, though I’m not sure if the 5 person group size is a requirement here. Will do a walkthrough of the casino and take pics if allowed!

The weather seems to be getting better, and the sun’s coming out. 
 

 

 

According to the map we’re sailing quite near where Voyager, Radiance, Spectrum and Solstice are parked, but I’m on the wrong side of the ship and they might be too far anyway. Wonder if Royal can use them as port stops for future cruises?

I believe all RCL ships (and other cruiselines) all have built in shampoo/soap dispenser in the shower for environmental reasons.    You bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush and hair conditioner.    They will provide hand soap for sink as well as small bottles of hand lotion.
