Social security scam

I received 3 calls today all numbers similar. Message said fraudulent activity in South Texas was found with my SSN.  I did not respond just hung up.   I reported the calls to OIG.SSA.GOV.  Everyone be safe and don’t release any information over the phone.

Unfortunately this has been happening a lot lately - So glad that you reported it - (to all) never give out your social security number (especially the middle two numbers) or any personal information!!!   Jan
