Went on the Breeze shake down cruise.

Even though it was a startup with few passengers, it was lovely.

As a result I booked the Star Pride for Nov 2022 out of Puerto Rico.

Good food, great service and a hot tub out at the bow....fabulous.

Windstar Cruises has been on my radar.  An award-winning cruise line with small, renovated ships sailing to small ports.  There is not much more I could ask for.  I love the itineraries out of San Juan.  Are you doing the 7-night or the 14-night?  Either way would be a nice way to try this line.

We did Star Breeze in Dec 2018, Aruba to Costa Rica (via the Panama Canal).  This was pre-stretch, but we loved it.  Only about 200 people - everyone super friendly and fantastic staff.  We made quick friends with another gay couple on board with who we've continued to travel.

We were to have gone to Alaska on the stretched Breeze in 2020.  That got moved to 2021 (I think we were supposed to be getting on a boat this weekend 🙁) and have now moved to a Wind Surf itinerary out of St. Maarten in December (all body parts crossed).  The small ships, great service, ability to get into small ports....all positives for us.  I don't imagine ever getting on a "big" boat again.

Stem to stern...I’m doing the 7 night out of San Juan. Longer sailings presents problems with my dachshund so it’s a 7 nighter for me.. Not sure who has the bigger problem, her or myself.

But Ive paid off this cruise, now to wait to get flights selected when schedules are posted.

DenGNNJ, book a sailing....you know you deserve it!😉

Already have two cruises booked and 100% paid-for (cancelled and rebooked twice).  Not Windstar, but nice nonetheless.

I think enough of our $$$ is tied up in cruises for the moment. 🙂
