Does anyone have any experience on Princess's Standby Program? Are the reduction in prices worthwhile?

I think people will only be able to give you experiences BCE

(before covid era)

As cruise lines have announced plans to sail at reduced capacity ... at least initially...

And, the standby program is designed to make sure ships sail full...

Seems likely there won't be a standby program until things improve.

On the other hand, the best prices were a few years ago, after a terrible hurricaine season in

the carribbean.  There were prices like $99 inside, $199 balcony for 7 day cruises.

Those were sent directly to people who lived near the florida ports, regardless of whether

they had registered for any standby program.
